Krista & Becca did it AGAIN. They got me addicted to another book, and I already knew before I even finished that this one is going to be one of my favorites. Right up there with Silver Sweet. I can see why it’s Krista’s favorite!

The dialogue: It is so frickin hilarious *chef’s kiss* I was laughing out loud from the early chapters, and the combative banter between Audrey and Birdie is everything.

The characters: Birdie is fascinated by sound, plays the cello masterfully, and I fell hard. I’m also still infatuated with the Cobalt and St Pierre siblings. I love how the St Pierre brothers just can’t help falling for a Cobalt. Every scene with all the siblings in one room had me starving for more. Audrey is definitely Rose’s daughter. I love her drive and passion, and I was rooting for her. The mother in me wanted to protect her, too. There were chapters that completely gutted me. I had to stop and talk to a friend to calm myself before I could dive back in. Audrey was giving me some Luna Hale and Daisy Calloway vibes. The Girl Squad is the best, too.

The feels: Be ready for your heart to get squeezed. This book made me cry more than once, gutted me at one point, and had me gasping, fanning myself, and clutching my chest. The kisses are SCORCHING. Krista & Becca spun some sorcery here. I’m now slowly coming to terms with the fact that I may be infatuated with the Cobalt siblings.

I couldn’t put this book down and had to force myself to stop at night.

Final verdict: 5 STARS. A new favorite!
