Happy Birthday, Daisy Calloway!

Today, we celebrate our youngest Calloway's birthday.  Daisy turns 21 in the Addicted world and we couldn't be more proud of the woman she's become.  She's been through so much and yet she still somehow creates a ray of sunshine for everyone around her.  She's the light in the dark days and to some, she is the sun.

My heart hurts for everything Daisy has been through.  She's been dealt a really shitty card but she persevered.  She stayed strong and kept her head above water.  She may not have been lucky in life, but she's definitely lucky in love.  She's surrounded by family and friends who love and care for her so very much!  Most of all, she's got Ryke.  Her protector.  Her wolf.  Hard to her soft.  Rough to her sweet.  Stone to her wild.  To paraphrase Samantha Calloway, they are lightning you can't bottle up.  Together, they make the perfect storm.

Happy Birthday, Connor Cobalt!

It is 2017, can you believe it!?  And January 3rd of this year marks Connor Cobalt's 28th birthday in the Addicted timeline.

LiLo may be my #1 OTP but I swear a lot of my favorite motivational quotes I find are from #Coballoway, such as this one from Fuel the Fire:

Connor is by far one of my most idolized characters in the history of all characters.  He inspires me to seek knowledge and be smarter, to stand for what I believe in and for myself, and to reach high and kiss the sky.  He exudes confidence that only his rival, nemesis, lifetime companion, and love of his life, Rose, can match.  I only wish I could come close to being as confident and intelligent. 

I remember making this video of Connor a couple of years ago.  That was around the time when Krista and Becca's dream cast for Connor, Oliver Altman, acknowledged us and even responded to some fans on Instagram.  That was a pretty big deal.

Happy Birthday, Loren Hale!

One of my absolute favorite male leads is celebrating his 26th birthday today!  At this point in the Addicted timeline, Lo (and Lily :)) have overcome so much and are continuing on a positive path.  Sure, they still struggle everyday with temptation but let's face it, they will be struggling with it for probably their entire life.  What's important is how much they've grown and how much stronger they've become.  Lo's transformation and character progression is one of my favorites to witness.

I look back and remember how amazed I was (and still am) at Lo's unconditional love for Lily.  He truly is one remarkable human being (ha! listen to me talk like he's a real person. He's real to me, I don't care what people say! :P).  HAVE ONE HECK OF A BIRTHDAY, LOREN HALE!

Happy Birthday, Ryke Meadows!

In the Addicted world, Ryke, our lone wolf, turns 27.  I look back and remember the first time he was introduced in Addicted to You and thinking, OMG he's going to be trouble.  Back then, I thought he was going to come between Lily and Lo...and he did in a way...but not in the way that I was expecting.  With the way Lily was describing him looking similar to Lo, I thought she would grow attracted to him.  It's seems so funny now that I think about it.

Ryke had so much to do with Lily and Lo's recovery.  He helped kick start it and he's made such a huge impact in Lo and Lil's life that it's hard to imagine how they would have ended up and where they would have been had Ryke not decided to come into their lives.  At the very beginning of Hothouse Flower, Ryke says, "I'm raw.  I'm hard.  I'm the thing you shy away from.  So I'm warning you now.  Back away.  Because once you enter my life, I won't ever let you leave."  So far, he's kept that promise and I never ever want him to leave.  I loved witnessing Ryke's relationship with Lo, Lily, Rose, Connor, and Daisy change into something wonderful.

Happy Birthday, Ryke!  Today, we celebrate you.  The Addicted world would not be the same without you in it.

Addicted: One Year Blogiversary

November 23.  It's been one year since I decided to start this Fan Page blog.  Wow.

In the past year, I've learned a lot on how to be a proper blogger and I've managed to make this blog look the way it is now.  Boy, have I collected A LOT of information on the Addicted series.  And I'm not even finished yet!  I will continue to add more pages and more links as necessary whenever I get new information that I believe needs to be shared.  This blog will continue to grow, even after all the books in the series have been published.

It will go beyond and into the "Like Us" series, which (for those of you who have read Addicted After All have recently discovered)  ***SPOILER ALERT***

will cover the next generation in the Addicted world. Yep, I'm talking about the Addicted Characters' children! All grown up!
