(The adorkable) Lily's best friend, soul mate, and true love, Lo is celebrating his 25th birthday in the Addicted universe today!  Halloween will always have a special meaning to me since I started this series because it celebrates Lo's birthday.  It also marks an important milestone in the story because in Addicted to You, it's the time that Ryke enters Lo and Lily's life. 

In the past character birthdays this year, we've celebrated by posting bonus material in the Fizzle Force Facebook group and this time will be no different.  So, if you're a member, go forth and read on!  If you're not already a member, we welcome you to join!!  Lo has come a long way from the start of the series and we're all very proud of the man he is today.  To me, he went through the most character growth in the series and I just have so much love for this man!

I know that there are a lot of fans who started the whole Addicted Series by reading Kiss the Sky first, so now would be the perfect time to start this series if you haven't yet!  This book is completely amazing and it's not dark and heartwrenching as Addicted to You.

You can read my Kiss the Sky review HERE.  Mind you, I wrote this before the authors decided to add more books to the series.  Kiss the Sky was originally a standalone novel, and in fact, it could still be read as a standalone novel, but why would you when you can have more of this fabulous cast and this awesome world!?  You would have to be certifiable not to read the series.  PLUS, Long Way Down (which is the last book of the series before the epilogue novel) is due to be released on Nov 20th, 2015!!  PERFECT. TIME. TO. START. THE. SERIES.

The Countdown Begins: 30 Days Till Long Way Down

It's so crazy how time flies (or drags, depending on your perception)!!  Today starts the 30 day countdown until Long Way Down is released!  Can I get a HELL YEAH!?

Gosh! Just think, the end is almost near!  November 20th will be here before we know it!!!!

(I'm obviously having mixed feelings about this...I feel like Rapunzel and her mood swings)

LONG WAY DOWN HAS A RELEASE DATE!!!!!!!!

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!  You guys!!!!!!  The end is near and I'm a big blubbering mess!  Krista and Becca just announced the release date for Long Way Down, the penultimate book in the Addicted series (you'll see why I say penultimate further down this post).

LONG WAY DOWN IS COMING NOVEMBER 20th, 2015!!!!

I wish I was more prepared for this (the announcement and the series coming to an end!)  As you can see, I have seriously been slacking on posting updates on this blog :(  My work and life has been eating up most, if not all, of my free time so I haven't been able to take a break and just blog for a bit.  Since I don't have anything created for this announcement, I am sharing this gorgeous graphic by Jae, my love.  She does such an amazing job with these edits and graphics!!

I'm so excited and nervous all at once!  I can't wait to read this book and get more Raisy, but I'm also so afraid of reaching the end!  I know I'll be one big ball of emotions and I'm already preparing for the (best) worst book hangover of my life!

I'm a bit late on some other news...

Did you know that Krista & Becca are also writing an epilogue book!? 

YES.  Yes, they are.

Behold.

Some Kind of Perfect is the very final book in the Addicted series.  It is going to be released after Long Way Down and will tie up the entire series to give it a sense of closure.  This is going to be a full length novel told in many POVs.  Now, you don't have to read it.  But I highly recommend not skipping it if you've followed the Addicted series from beginning to end.

This series has taken me on one hell of a journey and I've met so many wonderful people (Krista & Becca included) through my love for these books!  I hope to keep posting Addicted related stuff long after the series ends.  After all, we still have the Like Us series to look forward to!!
